MiX Telematics to showcase safety solutions at Safety in Action, Sydney
After the success of the Safety in Action Conference in Melbourne last year, MiX Telematics is proud to confirm that we will be participating in the flagship annual conference taking place at the Olympic Showground in Sydney from September 6th – 8th.
Attracting over 4,000 health and safety decision makers from multiple sectors across Australia, Safety in Action Sydney is the largest show of its kind and not to be missed by anyone whose job involves their own safety or that of those around them.

The MiX Telematics stand will showcase different telematics solutions that MiX can provide to help make fleets and drivers safer. Telematics uses on-board computers that capture vital vehicle and driver data to give fleet managers increased visibility of what’s happening across their fleet.
Specifically, fleet managers can use this technology to monitor:
- Driver performance and behaviour
- Driver location
- Seat belt usage
- Harsh cornering
- Harsh acceleration
- Driving hours, and much more.
Ultimately, telematics helps organisations to identify risk across fleets and plan remedial steps that can be taken to prevent crashes.
Visitors to the MiX Telematics stand will also have the opportunity to see how our e-learning driver packages work and learn about the ‘behind the wheel’ driver training courses on offer. Join us at stand J9.
Stewart O’Brien, the MiX Telematics Driver Training Manager for Middle East & Australasia, will deliver a safety seminar entitled ‘How companies are using IVMS to improve driver safety in Australia, and are they doing it right?’. The seminar will take place at 3pm on Tuesday, 6 September.
